1. Quantification of strawberry stomatal density 

We established a method for automated quantification of strawberry stomatal density. Currently, we are collecting data from a wider range of genetic materials to validate and, if necessary, to improve the algorithm.

2. Precision gene-editing tools for strawberry

We have designed specific CRISPR/Cas9 constructs targeting specific strawberry genomic regions containing three genes (factors) that contribute to strawberry susceptibility to powdery mildew.
